Chopes of Bideford

At Chopes we are very aware of the fact that people with all sorts of mobility challenges and special needs of all kinds may want to use our shop.

Not only do we carry products that might be useful to people with some special needs, we hope that we make our store as accessible as possible.

The entire store is accessible in a wheelchair (there is both a ramp and a new wheelchair lift) with the exception of a small mezzanine where some of the soft furnishing is displayed. But even here, any member of our staff will be happy to attend to you personally to help you make your choices.

Parking is available at the back of the store with flat and direct access through wide double doors.

Helping dogs are, of course, welcome in the store and all our staff are aware of the need to be alert for customers with visual or hearing impairment.
